Lundby Dollhouses
Lundby, a Swedish company, was the first dollhouse in the world to be put into full production. It's a traditional "play home" that never goes out of fashion. Lundby was the first doll's house to be equipped with electric lighting. This dollhouse comes complete with windows & doors, paneling, wallpaper, and all flooring almost completely assembled, ready for you to accessorize.
There are hundreds of accessories to choose from including Curtains & Carpets, Lamps, Dolls, and Furniture. Lundby is constantly updating for changing times and there are new accessories that match today's modern homes. Please see the Electrical Accessories section for the components to light up the house.
Lundby is intended for ages 3 and up. The dollhouse and all accessories are at a 1:18 scale.
If there is an accessory that you do not see, please contact us and we may be able to order it for you. Note that these are imported items, and availability may be limited and special orders will take some time to fulfill. We generally are only able to obtain new Lundby items.
The Gothenburg is the range of dollhouses that have been around for many, many several years (with some minor variations, this range has been largely the same since 1999, although the Gothenburg name has been used since the late 50's). This line is no longer being produced.
The Småland range is what we carry and is the replacement for the Gothenburg range, created in 2006. The basic structure of the dollhouse is the same, but the house and accessories have a more contemporary look.It has most of the same general furniture items, but they are updated with new colors and designs. They are in the same scale as the older Gothenburg range and are fully interchangeable (although colors and such may obviously be different).
The Småland range was completely refreshed in 2011 with updated designs and pattern, but is actively being updated, with new styles and colors every year.
Did you know there is a We Love Lundby Club? They are an international network of Lundby collectors, and a great resource for those passionate about Lundby (we are completely unaffiliated - this is an independent club).
2018 Update: There is not a current importer bringing these into the United States. Our current stock is very limited.
